I agree completely too. That's why I recently subscribed to the list, and since
a year ago or so, follow the project in a way or another.

Yes it is expensive to use commercial Cobol Compilers and runtimes, yet the
latter makes the final code very portable.

When I mentioned a commercial product in a previous message, I only wanted to
answer the question of Sébastien Ducléroir. I ask for apologizes if it was
considered list-abuse or something.
