The goal is a correct implementation of teh Ansi 85 std.
and thus a vaild COBOL implementation.

I am not sure where ppl got the idea that we were shooting for anything less,
but we aren't. The goals remain the same, but it does take steps to
reach it. And there may be intermediate steps which are "correct/vaild"
but are neccessary to reach the final goal.

Example: It the alpha 0.1 of last year we implemented Cobol numbers
as a C double type. This is wrong, but it was close enough for that try.
