Andrew's philosophy looks like this:
it is very difficult to sync categories correctly (which is true), it is
very easy to screw them up - so better leave it alone.
I would say that default conduit should backup AppInfo block by default ( it
is never doing it in fast sync)

Sync Palm with another host - next time your categories will be all right
( it will be slow sync,though :-( )
