[coldsync-hackers] "enterprise sync"

 This seems to be an hot subject in these days...  

I'd be happy if people could report experiences about
 the following enterprise hot sync methods:

 1 - Local hotsync, serial cradle
 2 - Local hotsync, USB cradle
 
 3 - Remote hotsync, modem
 4 - Remote hotsync, network

 I saw some email about #3 and #4... i'm currently
 experimenting with #2, using hotplug to launch coldsync
 just after the button press.

 Anybody has experience with #1? theorically, an entry
 in the inittab should do the job...?
