Should I understand it that's differences in communication protocol?

If m50x devices talk to Linux, would it be a lot of work to port this 
over to work with ugen0 code? Or is Linux's usb device a lot different?

For me it's easier to sync at brother's Windows machine that to install 
linux...

i figured password myself... CVS version acts exactly same as 1.2.5 for 
me...
