I've glanced at the patch, and it looks pretty good to me
(yes, I do read patches. I hope that wasn't news to anyone). The one
thing I don't like is the name "usb_m50x", since that's tied to a
particular model which will inevitably become obsolete[1].
I think the term "simple" might be more appropriate. Perhaps
have listen types "usb-simple" and "serial-simple" (of course, under
Linux, it's really a serial connection as far as ColdSync is
concerned). Either that, or "serial2" and "usb2".
Any thoughts?
[1] Then again, I have a Hayes-compatible modem in my IBM PC-
compatible machine, that I use to "dial" numbers. So at least there's
precedent.
