Re: [coldsync-hackers] coldsync install and perl

When last we left our heros, they were speaking of:

That's weird, I've never had it work with /dev/ttyUSB0...it could
depend on what other devices are on your USB bus, though I'm not sure,
because right now the Visor is the only thing I have that's USB. Glad to
see you got it working...
I was having some trouble today helping a cow-orker getting coldsync
running on his machine, it would occasionally just a.) either stop xferring
anything, or b.) seg fault out (this is with a 2.2.1(8|9) kernel, USB Visor,
and coldsync 2.1.0 (the version that was on the page today)). I didn't get
to grab a core file, because he had his ulimit -c set to 0, but I'm going
to play with it a bit on my laptop tomorrow and see if I see the same
behavior (I finally bought new batteries for my Visor). Anyway, the whole
point in putting this in this message is that I'm interested to see if you
have the same problems, or whether it's just his machine. It didn't seem to
happen on just a basic sync, just the initial sync where it was transferring
a lot of data.
