There was some consideration of this earlier on. Most of the tools do
not have the full power for indexed sequential (get next in order)
function. You would have to paste this on.

Anyone who would like to do a runtime implementation that we can link
into later is encouraged to do so. But read the standard carefully eg
the different open scenarios, the status codes needed, etc.
