Re: [GNU-COBOL] Quiet on the list?
Laura:
I've programmed in COBOL before, but I don't have a copy of the latest
standards. I'd like to help in some capacity, but I've never written a
compiler. I have done small interpreters so I know a little bit about
lexical analysis and parsing from a compiler course I took a long time
ago. I don't know how much time I could devote to this project but it
interests me because COBOL code is basically self-documenting to some
extent. What language(s) or tools were going to be used to write the
compiler? (other than bison which I know nothing about).
