RE: [coldsync-hackers] Design logic of Sync conduits

Hey all,

I just wrote a Fetch/Dump Conduit combination using the Datebook Perl Module and would like to add something like this (sshkey identification) to my conduit. How can I do something like that? Can I get information from another prc file while I'm fetching from the Datebook?

Marco Verbeek wrote in this thread that not giving back a serial number is a handspring problem only. I own a Sony Clie PEG-TJ25 that has the same problem. So It's not only Handspring :).

Kind Regards,
Bart Janssen

I like the ssh idea! A conduit could save some
"cookie" data (like the ssh public key) in "Saved
Preferences" and coldsync would automatically provide
that to the sync conduit via "pref: sshkey/1;" (or
something like that). Good idea.
