The Treo 300 and 90 work a lot differently than the other HandSpring
devices. They have a USB interrupt endpoint where the other devices
used to have a bulk endpoint.
Beyond this difference, I don't know if the protocol has changed or not
(this is the first time HandSpring has changed the USB product id of
their devices, so I'm guessing it might have.)
So in other words, I don't know if coldsync will handle this. Your best
option might be to get the old libusb patch that was sent to this
mailing list, and hack it up to try to handle the endpoint change.
