I am a long-time coldsync user, and have had no complaints to date. It
works, and does exactly what I expect.
So, here's the question. I'm running version 1.4.6. Is there any
compelling reason for me to upgrade, if what I have works? What will I
get that is shiny and new? Are there new conduits that will make me
happier? Are the Perl modules better?
Yes, I have read http://www.coldsync.org/NEWS
But, practically speaking, will making that large of a version jump make
my life better in any meaurable way?
