Hi There !
Please, I need some help with coldsync.
I am using a RH 7.2 with kernel 2.4.18, coldsync 2.2.5, devfs v1.3.25
and a Palm m505 w/usb cradle. My configuration file looks like:
[miguel]% cat .coldsyncrc
listen serial {
device: "/dev/usb/ttyUSB1";
protocol: simple;
}
palm "m505" {
snum: "L0JH14R11071-D";
directory: "/home/miguel/.palm";
username: "Miguel Angelo Rozsas";
userid: 24128;
}
I am getting the following message when I try a sync:
[miguel]% coldsync -mb .palm/backup
Please press the HotSync button.
Error: You have an old Palm, one that doesn't say how many
databases it has. I can't cope with this.
I don't know what's going on. I take a look on all documentation about
and I didn't found anything about this.
I was able to get the initial setup information (as you can see in
config file above) but the sync or backup operations aren't working.
Any hints, please ?
Any ideas will be appreciated.
best regards from Brazil,
