Not at the moment, it is how coldsync is designed.
In fact, it is probably possible to add entry to coldsync with Palm ID equal
0 and conduits for this palm.
I would suggest that conduit do nothing but just install program called
ChName ( used to be PalmName, but Palm lawyers forced author to change
name - Palm is obsessed with anything having Palm in name - so very soon we
may not able to have palms of hands :-)
Them using ChName-PalmName user will be able to set HotSync name and sync
normally (provided ColdSync would restore files when it sees Palm ID = 0 )
So many options are open.
