http://www.reefknot.org/ has a variety of iCal related resources,
including Perl modules for talking iCal. I'm the author of Date::ICal,
but don't really claim to be an expert on iCalendar.
I'm presuming that you are indeed talking about the iCal standard,
rather than some application called iCal.
