I don't get a listing for coldsync with netstat -a but I do get one with
netstat -ap
Here's what I get
netstat -pa | grep cold
tcp 0 0 ldap:1891 ldap:ldap
ESTABLISHED 2376/coldsync
When I put the IP address of the Palm server in the Primary PC box, I get
the following from tcpdump 'port 14238' (PS this is the same as when I put
palmserver as the Primary PC)
Is this:
first entry - windows box talks to linux box
second entry - linux box responds
third entry - w 2 l
fourth entry - l 2 w
etc, etc, etc
Are the two boxes talking or is the windows box not getting the response and
continues searching
The tcpdump 'port 14237' shows three entries - is this the windows box
trying three separate times?
tcpdump 'port 14238'
tcpdump: listening on eth0

try to put the ip address bot in the "Primary PC Name" and "Primary PC
Address" fields.
start coldsync and then run
netstat -a
you should check if coldsync is listening.
