Idea to remove udp code for ColdSync is right.
I don't see any problems with NetSync - ColdSync should start on TCP
connection.
Can be done 2 ways:
1) From inetd/xinetd
2) Bind port 14238 and fork on incoming connection
Either way is simple, nothing to discuss.
