Definitely!

Ok, I tried USB0 (I think I'd tried that before, but I did so again
just to be sure). No dice, same behavior.

Well, I didn't originally have a speed set at all (0 is reported for
the default, I guess?), but I tried setting it to 115200, as was
suggested by the message Adam pointed me to), both with net & simple
for the protocol, and both for usb0 & usb1. Same behavior in all
cases.

I could easily be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this isn't just a matter
of the coldsyncrc. I've tried an incredible number of variations over
the past few days -- even going so far as to reset my Clie in case one
of the bad tries was confusing it. Never has it worked, except the
once or twice apparently at random. Trying it again without modifying
the configuration generally doesn't work.

The main thing I notice different from other messages looking through
the archives is that I'm using a different version of the kernel
modules, and I'm using a different Clie. Is anyone out there
successfully syncing with kernel 2.4.17? How about with a usbserial
module v1.4, or a visor module v1.5? Or with a PEG-T615C?

I tried the snapshot for pilot-link, but got nowhere there either.
They're evidently going to have a new version out soon, though, so
I'll try that one then.
