I am having trouble with coldsync 2.2.4 and the Sony Clie N610-C with
the USB cradle. But, the "simple" protocol does not work for me.
The visor module (kernel 2.4.13) seems to be working: according to
messages recored by syslog. Also, I can crash the Clie every time by:
echo hello > /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 # not ttyUSB1
At least it's evidence of communication.
Below is a typical run. The numbers (bogus characters) I get are the
same every time.
# /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/coldsync-2.2.4/src/coldsync -p /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 -P simple -d slp:6 -d cmp:6 -d padp:6 -d dlp:6 -d dlpc:6 -d io:6 -d misc:6 -mI 2>&1 | tee coldsync.out
