[coldsync-hackers] last backup time

 I'm writing a conduit to syncronize an SQL database.

 Actually i check every record and i transfer it to the Palm if it's
modification time is greater that the last succesful sync time of the
database on the Palm.

 The question is: how realiable is this method? Should i embedd
a timestamp within every single record?
