OK, I've payed more attention to it and turned on cmp,slp and dlpc debugging.
The only chang to above fragment in logfile was:

Hotsync endpoint name: "/dev/ugen0.2"
===== Waiting for wakeup packet
usb read: Input/output error

Does anybody of you have a clue what can be wrong (or maybe where to try
hacking a bit? unfortunately my knowledge of usb protocols approaches zero)
