Well... One problem remained.

I set a system password, and after that I wasn't able to do a hotsync
anymore. Coldsync said that I'd have an "old palm" which did not return
the number of databases. The Hotsync log on the palm said that I have
an old hotsync software and I'd need an update.

The only workaround I see so far, is to delete the system password.
After that, everything worked fine again.

Is somebody on it to find out how to connect to the m50x with a system
password set?
