Which operating system are you using? What kind of PDA do you
have (Palm, Handspring Visor, etc)? Does ColdSync report any errors or
warnings? (In any case except normal termination, ColdSync should print an
error message.)
If you have a serial connection (or if you're using the
USB-to-serial utility for Linux), then io_drain() is just tcdrain(). I
don't know what would cause it to hang, so I don't even know what to
suggest, other than cranking up the debugging level (try "-dsync:5
-dmisc:5") and see what it says.
