gnubol: EVALUATE/SEARCH - "status"

I know that at least one of the notes that I have read indicated that you are
still having some problems/questions with SEARCH and EVALUATE - because of
the "similarity" of WHEN - and the fact that there is no limit to the number
WHEN phrases in an EVALUATE.

Can I repeat one of my earlier questions? Would these problems go away if
you stuck strictly to the Standard and *required* an END-SEARCH or
END-EVALUATE when one of these is "nested" in another statement? If so, can
I suggest that you at least START with that ANSI-conforming restriction (even
if you do NOT use it for other verbs). If this isn't the problem, can you
restate (sorry to be dense) why you think there is still a problem with these
verbs?
