gnubol: x/open information




some random info on the X/open std.

I think the open groups' web site ahs gotten worse over the years. =(

Bascially appears to be two main thinks with cobol

X/Open Cobol lanague defiantion. Its basically all the current Ansi/ISO
standards minus the optional modules plus i18n, screen handling, and file
sharing and locking.

Then there is the NMF SPIRIT docs :

Long ago there does use to be freely avilable. I have copies of them
form long ago. Seeing as now they sell them, I am not srue what the 
issues on distribution are. I might put them on the web site.
All they amount to is a context diff between the Ansi std and the spirit
std. You can get the spirit std, but you can "generate" it. =)
