[GNU-COBOL] explanation Cobol editing

Hello,

On the gnu-cobol list was some discussion on the editing of fields in
Cobol.

If you think it will help, you could try to publish the description of
the two Assembler statements which are used on the IBM and Siemens
mainframes to accomplish that result. The instructions are ED (edit) and
EDMK (edit under mask).

The document is like the Cobol Reference Manual in PDF format, but it's
less than 1 MB.

If you're interested, you can find them on the same Siemens website. You
can also ask me for the URL.
