COBOL who:

My C is so rusty as to be useless.
Never heard of: Flex, Bison.
Know COBOL
Don't have copy of standard, yet.  Please post where to get if you have it handy, else I will search this weekend.

COBOL translation:

Do you want to generate assignments, or would you rather throw a bunch at me?  If you want me to generate them, I can start it this weekend and post a few every day or two.

COBOL grammar:

I can answer questions, but have no clue about writing compiler.
