Re: [coldsync-hackers] Palm OS 5.0

Hi,

I am using Palm Zire 31. THe OS used is 5.2.8. I will
try it later to see whether it gives me problem.. The
device uses USB connection.

I am trying to retrieve all the data in the Palm
device. All data means doing imaging. From the first
bit to the last bit.

In the palm API, it shows a documentation detailing
how the palm debugger works with the palm device. It
is possible to make the palm device to dump all the
memory contents out.

The command syntax got to be encapsulated in packets
and send it over thru usb. The Palm device onli
recongized those packets.

The problem is that I don't know how to send those
user-defined packets over thru a usb connection. I am
now trying to seek alternatives.

That's why i see whether is it possible to work from
linux. And I come across coldsync..

I dun think pilot links allow it...

do u think it is possible to edit conduits such that
it is able to achieve my aims?

regards

Diing Yaw
