[coldsync-hackers] 2.2.5 and netsync -- what's the right way?

$ pkg_info | grep coldsync
coldsync-2.2.5_2 Synchronize a PalmPilot with a Unix workstation

Yay, coldsync finally builds and installs on FreeBSD 5.2-CURRENT. And
there was much rejoicing. But now it's time for me to recreate the
configuration which last worked in October of last year. I looked
through the mailing list archives a bit with google but couldn't find
the details.

I had coldsync set up in inetd.conf to listen for connections from
other machines. There was other magic set up in the coldsync
configuration file, and the palms file was also configured to contain
my Palm's serial number and other relevant information. I was able to
put my Palm in a cradle on my Windows machine, hit the sync button,
and it would sync to the FreeBSD machine, installing new data files
and making backups as necessary.

What line do I have to use in inetd.conf to make this work properly?
Do I need to run one sync while directly connected to the server in
order to rebuild the palms file properly? Are there any avoidable
gotchas here?

Jack.
