congratulate. coldsync is great product and i use it extensively.
but today pilot-link is ahead in conduits development.
for me it's not important, but for generic user it's main feature.

mainly coldsync don't active developed now.

I would like to defend Coldsync! It would be better compared to the old Palmsync Server than a Palm desktop product. If the Palm platform had been better developed with VPN and a better mail tool people would not now be looking at PocketPC's and MMIS / Exchange. PSION was also a PDA that never made the leap from a personal product to a workgroup product. Coldsync gives us one of the fundamental keystones to the future development of an Open Source alternative to MS Exchange.

I currently have staff using 4 Palms, sharing data on a daily basis. I have three coldsync daemons running (2 x cradles and 1 x netsync) on the box itself, and when in the office you simply pug the PDA into the cradle and press the button, and when at home we normally use HotSync / NetSync via our VPN's

There is nothing out there that does for the Palm what Coldsync does, not even if you pay a lot of money.

Marco
