Getting farther with coldsync...
log has this error now:
Error: No matching entry in /usr/local/etc/palms.
originally, when i ran -mI (initialization mode) coldsync said this:
This Palm already has user information that matches neither what's in
your
configuration file, nor the defaults. Please edit your .coldsyncrc and
reinitialize.
Your .coldsyncrc should contain something like the following:
pda {
snum: "10GK16906CYM-U";
username: "Scott Leonard";
userid: 31475;
}
so i added that as the sole entry in my home's .coldsyncrc file and added
this to /usr/local/etc/palms:
|10GK16906CYM-U|Scott Leonard|31475|scott|||
am i playing this game right? are these error messages in error?
