I am exploring the files in the latest release.
I am running FreeBSD 4.7 Stable.
The configure for coldsync states;
--without-usb Disable USB support for Visor (FreeBSD 4.x only)."
and the code seems to check for > 4.x and disable support.
That seems to conflict with the FAQ which states;
Q: Does ColdSync work with the Handspring Visor?
A: Yes.
Under FreeBSD 4.x, use
listen usb {
device: /dev/ugen0;
}
If the usb - ugen0 works for FreeBSD > 4.x, then how come the configure
disables it?
I seem to be having more luck with ugen0 and usb in any case.
thanks
