Well I just narrowed down the problem to the patch I am applying. I have
isolated the problem enough to know that make install installs
/usr/local/bin/coldsync on coldsync-2.2.5 normally without the patch but as
soon as I apply the patch, do a make clean, make, make install,
/usr/local/bin/coldsync will not install.
The patch I am applying is Rob Bloodgood's coldsync daemon patch.
But I wouldn't think that a patch could affect the make process. can it?
It is only modifying coldsync-2.2.5/libpconn/PConnection_net.c AFAICT.
Does anyone have any idea why this would happen?
Is there anyway to manually install all the necessary files?
Rob: Did you have any trouble like this?
