Hey folks,
I have what is probably a very simple question but it is driving me mad.
I have installed coldsync-2.2.5 from tarball and used it for a while now.
But I recently received a patch for 2.2.5 that I wanted to apply to it so I
attempted a reinstall. I untarred coldsync-2.2.5, applied the patch, did a
./configure, make clean, make. Everything went fine until i did a make install.
It looked like everything was ok but no files were replaced. So, I suspected
that make doesn't replace files. So, I tried deleting the
/usr/share/coldsync-2.2.5 directory and the /usr/local/bin/coldsync file. That
didn't help matters. I think somehow make sees that coldsync is installed and
refuses to do anything. Am I right? Is there an easy way to override this
behavior or am I doomed to find every coldsync file and delete it?
Your help is appreciated,
Adam
