It doesn't work for me. I have the same problem as Arie Folger wrote on 27-05-2002.
Have linux 2.4.18 (patched visor.o)
coldsync 2.2.5 (just now trying to build latest CVS)
PalmOS is 4.1

I tried simple and net protocols.
