Heh,.. I just finished writing a perl-based one for myself.
Unfortunatly, it's not quite a level of a conduit that I'd like and
requires a few manual steps. I'd be very curious to see how you handle
this.

Unfortunatly, I've been attempting to develop mine using pilot-link
(to moderate success).. so I cannot help w/ the coldsync specific
questions.
