You can also try the std-categories conduit that tries to sync the
categories
From my experience, running these conduits disables the generic conduit
unless you specify it in the coldsync configuration file (/etc/coldsync.conf
or ~/.coldsyncrc)
My conduit uses the categories to allow the Palm to determine what gets
sync'd (so I don't need a separate set up utility/file). Any category on
the Palm is sync'd - so the user types in the category on the Palm and if it
exists on the server, it syncs. If it doesn't exist on the server, it
creates it and sync's it from then on
