Yes, but you don't have to use a cron job. The fiels are copied from, not
moved ;)

archive is for archived items.. ( tha famous "Save archive copy on PC"
dialog).
Attic holds the files you deleted from the Palm. i.e. let's say you have
ChName in your palm and in your backup directory. When coldsync runs
it notices that ChName is no more on the palm (you have deleted it,
remember? ;) so it moves the copy in backup to Attic, for
your own safeness ;)
