RE: [coldsync-hackers] Re: App info changes



My experience has been with syncing to MS Outlook with the Chapura conduits
that come with some Handspring Visor models or Truesync that is available
for free from Yahoo

They both will add categories to the Palm but I don't know through what
mechanism

They differ in how they handle categories to be added to MS Outlook
(depending upon your configuration) but I don't think that has any bearing
on this issue.  Generally, it's possible to set them up to automatically
make new categories in Outlook.

 I've never used the Palm Desktop for windows: how does it handle
this issue? Should be easy to discover...
