This is the same problem as with new categories: this
information is stored in the AppInfo block. Unfortunately, there's no
way to sync the AppInfo block and do the Right Thing in every case, so
the generic conduit doesn't touch it.
You can write a sync conduit to update the AppInfo block.
I'd love to be proven wrong, so if you come up with a good,
generic algorithm for syncing the AppInfo block, please let us know.
