[coldsync-hackers] pconn_osx_open device string with OS X
Without a /dev entry for USB files in OS X, it's moderately opaque what
the device string passed to pconn_osx_open should be. I would like
to use
human readable strings the way Palm Desktop for the Mac does,
letting the
user select "Handspring Visor" or "Palm m500" and so on serial ports.
That's easy... the hard part is letting the user know what those strings
should be. For other platforms it isn't a big deal, but I would like to
at least export a series of #defines for client applications. Is
there any
preference for where I should put them?
