This is now part of the newly-released version 2.2.5. I
suggest you try building that. The main change is that instead of
"listen usb_m50x", you'll need to use
listen serial {
protocol: simple;
device: /dev/ttyUSB1; # Or whatever
transient; # If /dev uses devfs
}

Off the top of my head, I'm not sure what's going on. Try
building and running version 2.2.5. If that doesn't work, make sure
your USB drivers and whatnot are all up to date. If that still doesn't
work, try running ColdSync with "-dmisc:5 -dsync:5 -dio:5"; that might
give some useful information.
