[coldsync-hackers] FreeBSD 4.4 and USB palm m505 issues.
Good evening everyone,
I'm sure there have been quite a few discussions on this list about m505's
and USB with coldsync, but my efforts to track any down and get results
out of them have been in vain. If someone could point me to a good
relevant thread, that'd be wonderful.
If not, well, I'm including whatever relevant info I can think of now.
I'm running a regular 4.4-RELEASE with USB support compiled.
I've got coldsync 2.1.3 straight from the ports tree.
The error I'm getting is:
pconn_usb_open: Can't get information about USB device.
ioctl(USB_GET_DEVICEINFO): Invalid argument
Error: Can't open connection.
After reading through some of the list archive, I ran the following
command:
coldsync -t usb -p /dev/ugen0.2 -I -dsync:5 -dmisc:5 -dio:5
This is running as root.
The result is a bit long, so I trimmed it a lot.
baked# coldsync -t usb -p /dev/ugen0.2 -I -dsync:5 -dmisc:5 -dio:5

That's all I have. I would greatly appreciate any help!
