This error message is from the Palm Perl modules. It sounds as
if one of your conduits can't handle the databases you're using it
with.

Could you please rerun ColdSync with "-dsync:7 -dmisc:5" and
mail me the result?
Basically, this means that somewhere, ColdSync is opening file
descriptors and not closing them.
