Re: [coldsync-hackers] visor edge/usb/freebsd 4.3-RC problems
Hi Ilya,
I received the serial docking station for my Handsprint Visor Edge today
and am happy to report that it does work with FreeBSD (I'm running
4.3-RC but I don't think that is critical). I have gotten it to work
with pilot-xfer, pilot-link, install-user, jpilot. I haven't tried it
with coldsync yet (blush) but I don't see any reason why it won't work
(I just haven't updated my .coldsyncrc file yet).
Of course, this cost me another $49.99 (I purchased mine directly from
Handspring as my local retail outlets don't have them for the Edge yet).
However, I do have a use for both of them (the USB docking station works
with my laptop running Windows 98 2nd edition).

Bob Willcox The reason we come up with new versions is not to
