[coldsync-hackers] ACK timeout

I'm unable to synch my Palm IIIx on either coldsynch 1.5.5 or 2.0.1.
When I type:

	 coldsync -p /dev/pilot -mb tmp.coldsync/

and push the Palm's synch button, coldsync prints a long stream of:

	ACK Timeout. Attempting to resend.

and then the error message:

Error: Error during DlpEndOfSync: (3) Timeout.
	Error: Couldn't disconnect.

My hardware's OK because the palm synch works fine in MS windows. It
also almost works in pilot-synch (although I get "weird packet"
messages) and I believe it worked in one of the earlier versions of
coldsync as well.
