Oh, I agree. I thought that it was pretty amusing, but more
interestingly, I think it means that implementing a different calendar
(like, for example, a 13-month Ethiopian calendar) would be really easy,
since the Palm calendar seems to impose no restriction on the number of
months and the number of days in a particular month.

There are, however, a plethora of Perl date and time modules that could
handle "error" checking for this sort of thing if you wanted values to
be prechecked. I don't think that's something that the p5-Palm modules
should do, since it's clear that the Palm itself does not do it either.
