[coldsync-hackers] Snapshot: 1.5.3-20001120

I've just uploaded a new ColdSync snapshot:
http://www.ooblick.com/software/coldsync/coldsync-1.5.3-20001120.tar.gz

Think of this as the "A CS degree _can_ be useful, dammit!"
release (see below).
There are two main new features:

	1) ColdSync now uses a Proxy pattern for Palm information. This
means that the username, serial number, list of databases, etc. are only
fetched when and if needed. Thus, should appear a bit zippier.

	2) Init mode. 'coldsync -mI' sets the username and userid on the
Palm (in the future, it may also allow you to set the hostname for NetSync
and whatnot).
Init mode is intended to help prevent the Bargle bug, as well as
the problem some people have reported, whereby ColdSync would clobber the
username and userid, and prevent HotSync from recognizing the Palm.
I haven't yet written the flip side of this: having Sync mode
refuse to run unless the user name and ID are set to reasonable
values. But in defiance of decades of programmer tradition, I've updated
the documentation before the code.
