How'd you manage that? I thought Visors were USB only. Or have you
hammered your Visor into a PalmPilot cradle? If the latter, then you're
probably seeing line noise.

You may want to consider multiple passes: see which databases got
uploaded successfully, delete them from the backup directory[1], then try
again.
